Second runner up was John Kelai again from Kenya.

L Aruna Devi became fastest challenger among Indians in Mumbai Marathon.
She takes 3hrs 9 mins 59 seconds.
Mumbai Marathon was the first event that held after 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack in memory of the victims.
Thousand of participants put peace messages on their T shirts.
