Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling is situated in Trimbak town of Maharashtra.

Trimbak is 38 km from the city Nashik near Mumbai. This Jyotirling is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva.

It is said that, there are 13 Jyotirlingas in world

12 in India and one in Mauritius.Out of 12 Jyotirlinga 3 situated in Maharashtra Province of India. This temple is situated on the source of river Godavari.

Godavari is longest river of south India. The Lingas are covered by a jeweled crown which is placed over the Gold Mask of Tridev (Brahma Vishnu Mahesh). The crown is said to be from the age of Pandavs and consists of diamonds, emeralds, and many precious stones.

The exsisting temple was built out with basalt rock and was commisioned by Peshwa Nana saheb.The other two Jyotirlinga of Maharshatra are Bhima shankar and Grishneshwar
Bhima shankar temple is situated near Pune and Grishneswar Jyotirlinga is situated near famous Ellora caves in Aurangabad.
